Wow, what an epic tale.
I started this when I was travelling for work and this was the only book I took. I knew the complex story would need some uninterrupted time to get into it. This is a trick I use when I know a book will be challenging. If I have no other option (like bookcases at home groaning under the weight of unread books), then I can "break the back" - or spine as it were, of the book. I am glad I devoted the time to read this book.
