Every time I was steered one way, Deaver within a page or two, steers me another way.

Bad guys turn with the turn of a page, into good guys. Same with good guys.

And this was throughout the book including the last page.

I've read a couple of Jeffery Deaver's novels but due to this one, I'm increasing my consumption because it was so, so good. ...more

Shelves: fiction

I'm not going to finish it as I cheated and read the end but only after the writing really pissed me off. I usually like Deaver (which is why I'm giving 2 stars) but I wouldn't recommend this one. Characters are not really believable and the plot is icky...yes icky. ...more

Jeffery Deaver is a master of story telling and injecting twists that you never see coming. The Bodies Left Behind is no exception to his great writing and page turning plots.
