Another outstanding book from Koryta. He really does supernatural well. A very underrated author.

Shelves: mystery, horror, kindle

I'm not usually able to suspend disbelief for most horror books and I'm a much bigger fan of Dean Koontz type stories than Stephen King's ponderous plots. Which may be why I liked this book so much -- Korya achieves a brilliantly executed plot with mystery, suspense and nice twists that kept me guessing. And I cared about the people (and the big cats) in this book. ...more
