Our protagonist is known by her nickname, Fido, and she's a capable spinster who works tirelessly on behalf of women's rights and runs a printing firm that specifically employs women. I did actually like this more than I thought I would, I enjoyed Room and I thought this wouldn't be as good but the way that the truth and fiction were merged is extremely believable and very clever and I did feel sympathy for poor Fido.
