I have been on a recent post-apocalyptic/dystopian novel binge, and in my searches this is one of the books that came up that I did not expect spectacular things from. It seemed like your standard zombie-hoarde fair, full of gore and scary bits. In the end though, this may be one of the best post-apocalyptic books I have ever read.
