Adam Cain finds himself in an unusual situation. He has been abducted. Now this Navy Seal's mission is to find out how to get back to earth no matter what it takes! He is caught between warring factions in The Fringe (the particular spot in the universe he is in) and isn't sure who the good guys are. One thing he does know is that in this universe he is a superman - well, except that he can't fly - and that his Seal training is going to come in mighty handy!

A Navy Seal is abducted by aliens and thrust into a complicated interstellar society where all the myriads of aliens are slower, weaker, frailer than humans.

It was an enjoyable space opera.
I liked it better than Alan Dean foster's A Call to Arms from "The Damned" series.
