When I first began reading this (and read the description of the Mandasars) I thought this was going to be a hokey second-rate sci-fi novel that I wasn't going to enjoy. Well...
I was pleasantly surprised!! I was really drawn to these characters, and the storyline had so many twists and turns that I found it difficult to put down. This was the only book I've read by this author, but the characters were so intriguing, I think I'll look for "Expendable", and get to know Festina a bit better! ...more
