I have to say that it was hard for me to rate this book. Why? Because there are basically three storylines enfolding at the same time, one is excellent, the other is good, the last one is lame. So I went with the middle ground and chose three stars.

I absolutely adore this book and those that follow in the series. I read this for a book study in grade 12 and am soooo grateful it was in our list of choises. I would recomend this to anyone even if you don't like fantasy. You will ove it! People in my class who didn't like fantasy read it and even loved it!
