If you like stories about double dealing con artists struggling to make a soft living in a cruel multiverse, this book is for you. The premise of the book is funny by itself. Once you add the characters from the naive apprentice to the would-be master magician who has lost all abilities to cast spells, you will spend a lot of time laughing.
