Simple, straight forward Sword and Sorcery Fantasy Fiction, but one can instantly understand why Howard is credited as one of the orginal founders of the genre. His details are lurid, the emotions potrayed are visceral, and the action intensifies each story from start to finish until the climax is rip-roaring good fun.

Amazing book. Howard does an amazing job at capturing the setting and mood of his world. Conan is such a great character as well. He’s nothing like movies and so well developed. These books are the types of things that you can read over and over again.
