A Civil Campaign is the third Lois McMaster Bujold book I've read. Borders of Infinity I tore through in a weekend and wanted more. Falling Free was good for its word building but a little weak on plot. A Civil Campaign has made me glad I haven't gone on a buying spree to collect all of her books.

One of my all-time favs. The dinner scene with the butterbugs makes me laugh every time. A book that's good for many re-readings.

I had a tremendous amount of fun reading this book. It brings a whole bunch of characters from the previous books together and then sets them loose. Wacky hijinks ensue. (For example, the dinner party from Hell. I almost died!) I think that for me, this book is destined to be one of those books that you dig out when you've had a rotten day and need something to cheer you up. Definitely five stars as far as I'm concerned.
