A couple of my favorite writing friends talked this book up, so I finally squeezed it in between spots in my long reading list. Wow. I have never before read Dean Koontz, and I have no idea what his other books are like, but I LOVED the Odd Thomas character. I admired the writing so much. What a cool/unique/fascinating character.

I read this book on my father's recommendation...and he is not one to pick up a Koontz book. It had been YEARS since I had read him, back in my horror days in Jr. High. However, this book was so different and so amazing. I am hooked on the series!
