What Members Thought
I enjoy stories like this one. Not necessarily stories where the maiden is rescued by a handsome, mysterious hero, but those where help comes from an unexpected quarter - where someone who's supposed to be an enemy turns out to be a friend. I also like a turn-about, where the weaker party is called upon to do some rescuing of the stronger.

i remember adoring this as a young teen but even just reading reviews of it now i'm guessing it wouldn't hold up, lol.

Could have sworn I have read this one before. Not too bad. =)
One of my all-time favorite books. The characterization for the dragon is spot-on, IMO. This was the first VVV book I read, and even after reading others (which I've also loved) it still remains among my top picks.
