What Members Thought
The quality of this book is much lower than the previous book: Stone of Tears. For some reason Terry Goodkind decided to start summarizing the previous books periodically--which, when you've just finished the previous book is really annoying. Additionally, the shortness of the book didn't allow for the same build up of, not only suspense, but atmosphere and a real sense of place. Not my favorite out of the Sword of Truth series, but still a good book in a great series.
