Very interesting. Read it more for the characters than the mystery - it was fairly clear where this was going pretty early on, but still very well written.

Hakan Nesser books are must reads. His gift for mystery writing is unbelievable. I have a love for Scandanavian mysteries and tend to seek them out. I found him after reading all of Karin Fossumbooks. What irks me about both of these authors though is that their books are incredibly slow to be translated and released into the US markets...These authors are too good not to be shared with the rest of the world! Shelves: foreign-setting, mystery, scandinavian

Another good Van Veeteren mystery and one where we know who the killer is. We just follow along to see if they will be caught.

The killer has an interesting backstory and this was one of those odd situations where I found myself rather rooting for the killer, hoping that she wouldn't get caught.
