My 11 year old LOVED this book. He laughed all the way through, love the mischeiviousness of the characters and wants to read more from the series.

R read this book first, and told me I should read it, so I did. I still recall reading this as a kid, and as I started reading it the story line camp back to me. I picked this up to read to my son because I had seen it in an NYT list of critics' books that reveal the essence of America to us. It certainly does reveal America.
