After reading Captain Blood a while ago and finding myself in the mood for a romance adventure I thought I'd give Scaramouche a try (loving the free books on Kindle by the way). This did not disappoint at all and it actually made me want to get a detailed history of the French Revolution. It also really surprised me with certain plot points and I'm usually pretty good at guessing what comes next. I'm not doing it justice but I don't want to give anything away. I do highly recommend it.
