I did love Albom’s other books especially “Tuesdays with Morrie” and “The five people you meet in heaven”. Finding Chika however is a sad story filled with notions of death, illness, and some references to religion.

You'd have to have the heart of Mitch McConnell not to be moved by this story of Chika, the little Haitian girl that Mitch Albom and his wife cared for while she underwent cancer treatment in the states. That said, this isn't the type of I normally would read (it is for a library book discussion I am moderating) and I have very mixed feelings about both the content and the writing. So for that reason I am leaving it unrated.
