Ayoola summons me with these words -- Korede, I killed him.
I had hoped I would never hear those words again.
This odd little book is not at all what I was anticipating. I thought this might be a tightly wound downward spiral of murder, but it's not. Interesting look at contemporary life of two sisters in Lagos. One sister is a fashion designer (and serial killer!), while the other is a nurse and reluctant compatriot. How tight is the bonding of two sisters, and how far would they protect one another, even though it means they have to sacrifice other important factors in their life?

Twisted and sobering, served up with wicked humor. This short novel examines many issues: sibling relationships, romantic relationships, systemic sexism, and, as spelled out in the title, serial murder. Loved it!
