What Members Thought
Heartwarming stories set in Africa, oozing old world charm and heat. These books are brilliantly written and utterly captivating in intent. My go to when I need something more optimistic and amusing. Love this series.
Another enjoyable read by one of my favorite authors, McCall Smith; this is Vol. 5 of the Ladies No. 1 Detective Agency series. It was good, but not one of my favorites from the series, thus the 3 star rating. I think my perception of it was probably colored by my recent reading of one of McCall Smith's Sunday Philosopher's Club books--which I really, really enjoyed. But still, the place I want to visit next in Africa is Botswana!
