What a GREAT read, even though it was a long one. Very insightful, engaging, satisfying, enlightening, maddening (how long it took for so many to finally see the total evilness of slavery--and at what, at what a high cost), and so inspiring. This was an excellent biography of Lincoln! I earned so much about him and admire him more than ever! He was truly a remarkable man. He had a deep love and compassion for his fellow men, even those who were his “enemies”. He had great skill to help everyone feel needed so they could serve with diligence. He dealt with incredible sorrow both as a nation and privately, which he felt deeply, yet he could still find the humor in life! 4.5 Stars!

4 1/2 stars. Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln is an amazing book, featuring not only Lincoln, but the cabinet that supported him.
