What Members Thought

You should read this if you like: magic, life or death games, circus, non-linear narrative, enemies-lovers, arch nemesis, magical realism, slow burn romance, purple prose, cryptic dialogues, and lovers with explosive chemistry.
My eyes started to blur out at the end there. Hoo boy. Where do I even start with this book?? If I had to pick one passage to describe the The Night Circus, it would be the following:

Better late than never I always say.
So far, this book reminds me so strongly of Ray Bradbury's Something Wicked This Way Comes - the prose is so intricately woven and treats each word as a delicate thing to be nursed and grown into something bigger than itself.

So I'm done. I'm at a loss for words, really. Everyone and their mother has read and reviewed this book and I wonder, what more can I say about it when everyone has reviewed this ephemeral masterpiece with eloquence and respect? Well, I'll ...more

This book was absolutely amazing in every sense of the word. Not since Harry Potter have I felt so strongly attached to a book. The magic, imagery, characters, EVERYTHING was so captivating that it created a whole new world in my imagination. I fell in love with the cover and the overall design, and then I fell in love with the idea. Another aspect that I really enjoyed was the set up of the novel. It is written from several perspectives, each at a different time. It adds to the novel's main poi

Slow book... I had to reread it because I only half read it last time. The book's theme and idea is very good but I didn't like that it went back and forth on dates. Some people were hard to follow because it jumped back and forth. It had great potential and the love between characters was captivating.
