A suspenseful thriller with a fresh premise but a story that dragged and became repetitive and the suspense fizzled out for me.


I really liked the beginning of this novel and the suspense created with the character of Anna and her reclusive life behind the window. The book is a slow reveal with a few twists and turns but for me it lost its mojo about half way through as it became repetitive and drawn out as a lot of the story takes place in her house. 5 🌟 now that was a thriller. I enjoyed the playing with the readers head. I swear I felt as if I was becoming crazy lol.
Anna stuck in her home due to her medical condition. Only way for her to pass time is to watch her neighbors, drink wine, take pills, sleep and watch old movies. But wine, pills and thriller movies don't mix well when she witnesses her neighbor being murder. Or do she? Police doesn't believe her.

The author was effective on what she wanted the reader to think while reading the books.. at first I have strong feeling what’s going on...but while reading , the writer convince me that I was wrong ...there so many question in my mind...that why I decided to finished the book, even in the first few chapters I find it boring. The plot you don’t have any idea how it will end or what ever...or how it will be interesting.. there was one part the I was crying and feeling scared and I told to my self ...more
