This was a great little read by Wells. I wasn't sure what to expect as I've only read a few things by H.G. Wells, but I really enjoyed this. It was well written and grabbed my attention by the 5th page. (view spoiler)

I liked the writing and the ending too but with the ending, it felt like the story itself amounted to little... if that makes sense? I liked the blind men and all their kindnesses, they couldn't help what they did not know and could not see. But where was his-Nunez'/Bagota's- empathy and humility?
I've heard that there were 'alternate/cancelled' endings and I plan to read those too and decide on a possibly better one to remember the story by ;) ...more
