This book was on my TBR for a long time.
To be honest, I picked this up because the Queen Sarah J. Maas strongly recommended this book in one of her newsletter. And it was a big disappointment.

Many times I asked myself if it was worth reading it and at the end of the day, it was a terrible read. Not my cup of tea.

The writing was too full of intricate descriptions and metaphors, and again more mysterious nonsensical descriptions a gogo, that many times you struggle to understand what the heck is ...more

I’m not entirely sure how I feel about this one. It left me feeling confused and kind of lost? I absolutely fell in love with Roshani Chokshi’s writing style; it was magical, mystical and breathtaking. I was swept in by the beautiful prose. However the story itself felt a bit underwhelming and hard to follow.
