What Members Thought
This was a fantastic book that blends a lot of good historical fact with some "what if" to make a great and flavorful five star stew. This one really spoke to me on a lot of notes and kept getting the tune right so I just had to go all out with five stars. Plenty of action and tension with some good twisting that will really catch a person up in an emotional roller coaster ride. I really recommend this one if it sounds interesting to you.

I really liked this book, but I really wanted to like it more. It was unfortunately nothing new; I have read so many Holocaust books and this one was like all the rest. It followed a predictable formula and highlighted some of the atrocities, but never any real horror or discomfort. The suspense was good, but it seemed as if the easy way out was taken in so many situations. It just felt too predictable while I expected something different.
