A cracking good story, whether the story fact or fictional. Papillon's code of conduct, tenacity and cagey intelligence used in gaining his freedom is riveting. I see that a remake of the movie is coming out, with Chris Hemsworth and Rami Malek. In the meantime, I'll seek out the Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman flic.

L'affascinante storia di un prigioniero ed evaso francese nei Caraibi all'inizio del '900 e le sue peripezie nel rincorrere la libertà. Libertà che gli spetta di diritto perché non ha mai commesso il reato del quale è accusato. Snocciola una serie di interessanti strategie di sopravvivenza e di come mantenere l'equilibrio mentale in una cella di isolamento. Una lettura davvero appassionante.
