This book took me back to the sounds, smells and the pulsating love of life I experienced while on holiday in Malaysia. The characters in this story were so vibrant and funny. I don't have any knowledge of the languages used in this story, but having travelled and seeing that I love Indian food, I didn't feel the need to stop to find out what various words meant.
