I was duped by Shirley MacLaine! Based on the reviews of the book, I thought I would get a memoir of a rich, over-privileged celebrity attempting a spiritual awakening. I thought it sounded like an entertaining read. I should have known that it would be really not about the Camino when the introduction referenced her ranch being on UFO watch ground in New Mexico and having a homeopath consultant.
