I didn't know much about the story of Masada, and I'm not sure how much of this is based on real historical fact (or not), but I really enjoyed this book written in the voices of four difference women who are bound together by fate. I listened to it on audio and thought that all 4 of the narrators did a really good job. Each of the four main characters were interesting and well developed. Well written.
This book combined my three favorite themes: Strong Women, Historical Fact, and Magic. And it is one of the best books that I have read in a long time.
Slow going but starting to pick up about 100 pages into it.
