If you are a faithful follower of this blog, you may recall my passionate review of Madame Tussaud last year. I was whelmed by this book. It wasn't as exciting as the back cover made it sound, and for a time period that's as allegedly sexy as the Tudor period, it sure lacked for spice. I wasn't sucked into Selene's world like I was hoping to be.

I enjoyed "Cleopatra, a life" a lot more than this book since it has more historical accuracy about Cleopatra and Egyptians, Greeks and Romans.
