What Members Thought
Set against the backdrop of WW II, the story unfolds as Hitler invades Poland and Anya and her family’s quest for survival amidst the atrocities meted out to Jews during this dark period in history. Unfortunately, I found the book inordinately and unjustifiably long, the writing style didn’t capture my attention and the character development left a lot to be desired.
