Amusing novel about a man named Ig who is accused of murdering his girlfriend Merrin but there is not enough evidence to charge him or exonerate him so he lives in a form of limbo. During this time, he begins to grow horns on the top of his head. He also begins to hear the most evil and devious thoughts from people he runs into, whether it is the cashier at the store or his best friend.
