What Members Thought

I thought this was my first story from Jill Shalvis, but it turns out that I've read one of her books - Animal Magnetism.
I'm not a big fan of short stories, but this one is okay. Although I admit it is even shorter than I thought. Probably, if I had read other books in this series before and knew the characters, this experience would be even more enjoyable for me. But I still appreciate well-constructed characters and a good story.

This was a nice short story featuring Mia and Nick...Mia invites Nick to her hometown to meet her birthparents and attend a wedding over the holiday. Nick does not respond as anticipated. Both Mia and Nick have regrets over how things have gone and this story follows their reconciliation as they look towards the future. I personally did not connect much with this book - partly due to the fact that it has been a long time since I have read anything from this series coupled with the short-story fo

A wonderful chance to catch up with Lucky Harbor. This novella is set 5 years after the first three novels and reintroduces Mia, Ford and Tara's daughter. Mia asks her boyfriend, Nick, to attend Chloe and Sawyer's wedding with her. He declines and she goes alone. Mia is conflicted when Nick does show up and not sure of their relaionship. Sweet!

#6.5. in the Lucky Harbor romance series
This was just a very brief holiday romance starring Mia, Tara and Ford's daughter. She's headed home for Sawyer and Chloe's wedding, and she wants her boyfriend Nick to come with her. But he's an adopted child too and is unsure about the whole family thing, much to her chagrin. It was so nice to revisit with the whole family at Lucky Harbor, even if they are a little overprotective. But they're all so loving and caring that I can't help but love them. ...more

We finally get Mia's story though it's a short and sweet one. Loved it.
