A powerful memoir about growing up Black and Queer. Johnson always knew that he was a bit different from the other boys. He loved double dutch and was called names. He didn't know what it meant or how he identified and tried to hide, idealizing masculinity. Luckily he had a fabulous and accepting family that supported him whether he played football or joined the bowling team.
