I really don't know what to say but WOW what a story. I have never cried so much while reading a book. This book was about so much more than just sex and BDSM. It was such a sweet but tragic love story but I can really describe all the emotions I felt while reading it. warning: you will need tissues!!!! a story about a guy whose best friend tells him he is dieing. and his final wish is for the friend to marry the dieing guys wife and take care of her. the guy is weirded out because the friend and his wife practice bdsm. the guy must overcome his fears and learn to take care of the woman he loves.

I read this book quite a while ago so I decided to go back and listen to the audio copy. I feel that this one story along with Cardinal's Rule are core to the whole series. Kaden is a man who has done what he has to help the woman he loves. And now when faced with his greatest challenge he brings in his best friend to help him over this next part of the journey. This story should not be read without tissues handy and even hearing it a second time it is still as special and still as moving. ...more
