It took a WHILE to get into it. A good 150 pages, probably, but once I did get "into" it, I couldn't bear to put it down! I love Wanda & Ian !:)

When I got ahold of this book, I had very high expectations. I knew it would probably never be as good as the Twilight Series, but I still thought it would come close. And, was I right. This was another amazing book by Stephenie Meyer. It's a story of a girl named Melanie, her brother, and her lover Jared. They are trying to hide from the "aliens" that are seeking hosts. Melanie gets captured and a host named Wanderer is placed inside her. This is a story of the love shared by the host and Melan

loved it! in the beginning things may seem confusing but once you begin to read about the memories things catch on. Melanie refuses to let go of her body which has been invaded by wanderer, a soul/alien. they begin to share feelings for the same people, and it leads to distress. one wants one thing while the other wants another. eventually things get worked out and the ending leaves it open to a possible sequel. the best character would have to be ian. This book was weird. A love triangle. I didn't like the whole idea of a parasite being inside your brain and taking over your body. That is SO CREEPY! I hated that thought, it made me cringe everytime I thought about it.

That was definitely the strangest book I've EVER read next to 'til we have faces by c.s. lewis, but I really enjoyed it. It kept me thinking and reading all throughout. It was a psycological thriller. I read it in a very short amount of time on my trip back home from Idaho in the car. I loved it. It was an intriguing story that kept me reading and entertained for hours. A great read.

Although sci-fi stories aren't really my thing, this book introduces a really neat concept of soul-like things inhabiting, basically every inch of the galaxy, or every inch of every living thing in the galaxy. Stephenie Meyer does it again. Although this is supposed to be an adult novel, I strongly suggest it to teens, too.

Omigosh, I LOVED this book!It looked REALLY weird, but I had nothing to do, so I read it anyway and I am SO glad I did! It's pretty long, and the beginning is slow, but it's totally worth it!
