This book was everything and more! I don't even know where to start. There's so much to talk, but at the same time I have no words to explain so much perfection. Gostei muito menos deste livro do que dos anteriores. Mais chato, principalmente as partes da Manon. Mas a parte final promete. Espero que o próximo seja melhor.

This is the 3 book of this series and it gets even better that the first ones. For people who frequently see bookstagram community or book tubers it's almost impossible to not have heard about this books and their characters and I have to confess that I was so curious about rowan.

Huh that was disappointing... and kind of confusing? It feels like SJM doesn't know what to do with her world - this whole world-building that happened in this book should've happened in the two previous books too.

This book was something. I love Celaena, she is fantastic.
In Heir of the Fire Celaena went to Wendlyn to try to find answers to destroy the powers of the King of Adarlan, the Wyrdkeys. Here she finds the queen of the fae, Maeve, and her aunt. Maeve tells her that if she wants to know these answers she must prove that deserves to enter Doranelle, the kingdom of Fae. For this, she has to train her powers with Rowan Whitethorn (one of the characters that I liked better). Meanwhile, in Rifthold thin This book was something. I love Celaena, she is fantastic.

Maeve tells her that if she wants to know these answers she must prove that deserves to enter Doranelle, the kingdom of Fae. For this, she has to train her powers with Rowan Whitethorn (one of the characters that I liked better). Meanwhile, in Rifthold things do not stop and we can see what is happening since Celaena goes away by the views of Dorian, Chaol and Aedion, Celaena's cousin.

With this book we learn more about the past of Celaena, it broke my heart every time it was unveiled some part of her past. Was it necessary that she had to went through so much? In this book she will be down completely, due to the death of Princess Nehemia, due to having left friends behind, due to being forced to remember the past. It was not easy for her or for those who read the book, I'm sure.

About Dorian, he will follow with his life and let his feelings for Celeana aside. I think he did well in finding someone else. And made me proud see him stand against his father and what comes next is bad, really bad for everyone.

Chaol was the biggest disappointment, he simple did not accept who Celaena is, what she really is. I think he is in love with the idea he has of Cealena in the beginning and not the real Celaena.

Aedion is a new character, is Celaena's cousin and was trained to be her protector. He always thought she had died and when he discovers that she is alive and well he hopes to see her again. I liked this character, I hope that what happened at the end of the book do not ruin his life, I want to know more about it in the next books.

Manon Blackbeack is another new character, she is a witch and the leader of the Thirteen. She's described as evil, vindictive and with no heart, at least that's what they say and what she thinks. I loved her interactions with Abraxos, are hilarious and you can noticed that after all she is not so bad, it was more the way she was created and trained. I enjoyed reading about this new character and I hope it continues to appear in future books and I'm curious to know what will be the interaction between her and the Celaena, if there will be any, I hope so.

Rowan Whitethorn, is one of the Fae belonging to Queen Maeve. The scenes between him and Celaena are fantastic, their scenes were the ones I wanted to read the most. At the beginning he is a bit difficult with her, in practice and in the interactions they have. There comes a point when she will completely lose it and break because of him and the way he treats her. After all she passed and still catch up with an asshole like him is very bad. But over time, as he will know more about her, he realizes that she's no spoiled girl and deserves to be respected. From there it is beautiful to read, they both enter a relationship of such intimacy (not romantically), they fight next to each other, they would die for each other because they fully trust each other and that's what lacked Celaena for her to move on and fight for the throne that is rightfully hers.

I advise this book to everyone, was the best I've read, no doubt one of the favorites this year. It is worth having to wait so long for the next. ...more
