description

The Iron King surprised me and disappointed me, if that makes any sense. I think the world created by Kagawa is extremely beautiful, magical and wonderful and all those words. What disappointed me was Ash and Meghan relationship. I admit that Ash is my favourite character, but Meghan is the one I dislike the most!

What I felt about Meghan and Ash's relationship was that it was too damn quick. In one moment they were avoiding each other, the next page they were kissing, and the next paragraph the

RATING: 4.5 stars.

This one was very, very good. Okay so Meghan was more than a little mary-sue-ish and I thought I'd like to slap her if she shrieked one more time but the world building was... stunning. Visually stunning if it makes any sense... if it was a movie it would win best photography or something.

Oh, this book was such a surprise, and I’m seriously having a hard time believing I enjoyed it this much. The thing is, I have a couple of really bad experiences with YA books regarding fairies&alikes, so my expectations are always low when I pick up a book of the genre, but I’m guessing this was a positive thing in The Iron King case, because I had so much unexpected fun!

Opinião/ Review:

"The Iron King" is the first of four books of The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa.

Meghan Chase is the main character, and an apparently normal sixteen-year-old. Coming from a poor family, living in a farm, she's considered an outcast among her highschool mates, and her only friend is Robbie, a special boy she knows since ever and know all about her, but she can't tell the same about him.

Meghan doesn't understand why people seem t

Creative and Fabulous are adjectives that describe this great book!
I Love how Megan is stating to discover her powers. She may not be the greatest fighter or a great addition on a physical confront but she fight with her heart and sacrifice herself for the ones that meant for her.
