This was so good. Even better than I hoped for. My complaint was the romance. I think it was too rushed. Other than that... Stellar. I loved the magic, the world, the characters! It was all so good and interesting! I can't wait for the second book. ...more

This was a really good book, and I especially appreciated the characters - they were fascinating and their relationship with each other were so much fun, and heartwarming, but also so realistic. Now sadly the world didn't click as much with me, it was still very interesting, but I feel my interests may be moving away from high fantasy, and that may have influenced my reaction to the world building...

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves fantasy :) ...more

Stop everything you’re doing and if you still have this book waiting on your shelf, go read it! Because you don’t know what you’re losing, believe me. Children of Blood and Bone is an addictive, fiercely tale about fighting for what you believe. Fighting against injustice, racism and oppression. Is a tale about the repercussions of genocide and how the loop of hate never stops until someone dares to oppose it.

Adorei a premissa do livro e a ideia de explorar uma mitologia desconhecida e diferente de todas as outras mas .... Achei o desenvolvimento da história muito lento e não consegui afeiçoar me as personagens, apesar de ter tentado.... A história acabou por ser previsível e o par romântico Tb foi previsível e pareceu forçado....a ideia era boa e não odiei mas também não adorei e duvido que leia o próximo livro apesar do final deste.
