The Boss is the first book in what looks to be an amazing series. Sophie shows up to work one day to find things a mess. Her old boss is suddenly gone, a new boss is being brought in, and she doesn't know exactly what her job status is. The only thing that could make her day worse is finding out her new boss is a former one night stand – who happened to have been the best sex of her life.

Shelves: audio, erotic, series-trilogies-i-started, 1st-in-series

I started out liking Sophie a lot, but as the story went on that started to dwindle a bit. As soon as Neil came into the picture, she seemed to turn into one of woman who only has sex on the brain, all because he is attractive. WTF??

She did redeem herself when she didn't totally become stupid, because she was putting her career first in most circumstances. I say most, because their is no way you really want to be taken seriously if you are sleeping with your boss. There are too many pitfalls.
