I had a hard time with this book. It is very well written and kept me on the edge of my seat, but the subject material was just very intense and hard to read. I definitely recommend this book but with a warning for rape, kidnapping, death, abuse, and anyone who has PTSD with these issues be aware.

The writing of this book makes the scenes intense and I couldn't help but both be scared and angry for Annie. The cabin and how it is set up just brings home how messed up the situation is. The routine ...more

This would make a great movie as it's filled with suspense and mystery. I enjoyed the story but it was difficult to read the abusive scenes since they were so horrific. But I enjoyed figuring out the mystery as to why to abduction happened in the first place. ...more
