I usually don't pick up things that claim to be romances, but I'm a nerdfighter from way back in the early Brotherhood 2.0 days, and John Green contributed to this along with interesting nerdfighting author Maureen Johnson, so I got a copy when I had a chance. (I'm sure Lauren Myracle battles worldsuck, too. I just don't know as much about her.) I had decided to put off reading it until I was in need of some Holiday spirit, which I have been lately.

It was a chilly November day, I had just woken at 6 AM and read the last half of Sisters Grimm (1). I was in need of a new book (I left LIES in my locker), so I headed to the local library with a list of my GR to-read books. From there I checked out Let It Snow and Birthmarked.

Book 48 of 2015: 4/5 stars
There's nothing particularly profound about this YA romance but it's totally charming and well written and leaves a little smile on your face at the end. And that's never a bad thing when you're reading! Great little read for the holidays :)
