this book is about bloodshead, terrifying truth of what realy happend to Alyss. (yes this is how her name is really spelt) this book was a page turner, a cant put down book. Frank Beddor is now one of my top fav. authors. i couldnt believe all the stuff that happens this book is a never ending, drama filled, bloodsheading, unforgetable,heartbreaking story!!!! i was alittle upset with the way the book ended... but at the time i didnt know there are 2 more books!!!!!!!!! :)

Very interesting take on Alice in Wonderland, or should I say Alyss. I can understand why the author is "in hiding", as he says in the bio. This is a controversial take on the story and Carroll purists wouldn't be happy with it. But I love the idea of the Mad Hatter being an assassin and royal bodyguard. I can see the white rabbit as an albino tutor. And the idea of General Doppelganger is pretty cool, especially when it's Generals Doppel and Ganger. I wonder if they were suppose to be Tweedle D
