What Members Thought

Pretty brutal. I liked the first 1/3 of the book, but I feel like this book could have been written in about 1/3 of the words. It feels very self-indulgent and its depressing without any promise of a payoff in the end.

I don't know if it is the narration or the story, I'm sure it's a mix of both but I love this book. It's one of those that makes me want to go to work so I can listen to it.

The characters seem to come to life in this book. I feel like I know them. I don't necessarily understand everything they do and why the self destructive behavior, but she is a really, really good writer. Even with the book being so long and maybe a little too much minutia at times, I still wanted to get back to it every time I put it down.
