What Members Thought
This is a book that I really wanted to love and I tried, I really did. It's so in my wheelhouse - witches and the Salem witch trials ... yes, please! Unfortunately, it was too long, dense and (dare I say it?) boring for me. I just could not get through it. I tried and tried. I finally got through it but kind of wish I'd abandoned it. This is so difficult to rate... The book took me a long time. I learn a lot, I understand more what happen during that period of time, and I am glad I have been born in the XXI Century. But the book is not an easy read, there are parts that I was just not motivated, they are details that were way too long and I still not feel where related with the moment of the book the author jump from time to time sometimes without creating a relation of the moments describe, or at least I did not feel them.
