Oh dear. I was very excited when I started this book and it drew me in immediately. A slightly dysfunctional family, an affair, loads of kids - nobody up for sainthood - my kind of book. However, my enthusiasm waned a bit through the events of this family and in the end, I just finished it because I was 3/4 of the way through.

This book deals with divorce, but more than that it deals with child neglect. Two families of children are thrown together by divorce and remarriage by parents who, in one family, are just plain neglectful and should never had had kids in the first place. We see how the kids manage and interact with each other through their lives. It did get kind of boring toward the end. I would give it a 3.5 if I could because of that.
