I seem to be late to the party again with Matt Haig’s latest book The Midnight library. This is the first book I have read by the author and it certainly won’t be my last.
Nora Seed is depressed, unemployed and grieving over the loss of her cat. She has also lost contact with her brother who she had differences with. This really was a great book as most reviews are saying! I was a little worried as someone had said that it got a little repetitive but I did not find that to be the case. Yes, Nora did go into a few different lives but I was really curious to see how her life would have ended up had she made different choices. My idea of how the book would end changed twice and I was glad to see both scenarios play out. The ending of this was also great, if not a little rushed.

This is an OK book, just not my kind of book. I finished it and it was easy to read. It is probably a better book for someone a little younger who has time to make a whole new life. Thirty five isn't all that old.
