This is the first book in a long time that I am finding hard to put into words how much I enjoyed this book. The Invisible life of Addie LaRue is the first book from V. E. Schwab that I have read, and I can’t wait to read more.

Sitting here 12 hours post finishing this book and still not sure exactly how I feel. Was it written beautifully? Yes. Was it predictable? Yes Is it worth the read? Yes.
Therefore this book gets 4 stars. My issue is entirely because I don't typically like books which bounce between storylines. Addie bounces between her past and her present. So even though it is still her story I struggle with this method of storytelling. It pulls me out of where I am in the story and then by the time I get back ...more

Too much fantasy for me. I don't know how this got on my To Read list. The writing isn't bad, though.
