I'd recommend this one to anyone who loves fantasy. I can't believe I waited so long to start. This was a tremendous, epic, beautifully written story. I don't typically expect my fantasy to have great writing and character building, and this one just completely blew me away.

I enjoyed the story/first book, but did not realize this was a GOT type of thing where it's taking forever for the 3rd book to come out. Might not have started the series (?) then. ...more
